HELP MOVE GOLD STAR MOTHER, FLORENCE BYERS MCSWEEN

Event Details

Event Description

Gold Star Mother Florence Byers McSween, is in a desperate situation, and needs your help!  This little lady is all alone, and at 61 years of age, is having a rough tough time of it.  Florence was forced to move from her long time home, and given hardly any notice.  She did find a place to move that is only 3 doors down, and she is all packed and ready to move by the deadline of this Saturday, July 28th. But this little lady just hasn't got the strength and ability, necessary to move her possessions all by her self!  For the larger things, she is needing the help of some fine, strong men, with access to a pick up truck.  It isn't a great distance to move, at only 3 doors down, but this little lady is overwhelmed!

Florence is the mother of EOD1 Joseph "Adam" McSween.

EOD1 Joseph "Adam" McSween 26, of Valdosta, GA, was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit 11, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash. Joseph died  on April 6 from enemy action while conducting combat operations near Kirkuk, Iraq.

If Joseph was alive, he would no doubt be helping his dear mother.  But Joseph is not alive ... because he Sacrificed his live for you and me.

So PLEASE, if you can find it in your heart to come and help this Gold Star Mother move, it would be so very much appreciated!

I have alerted the Georgia Patriot Guard Riders though ... thank you for the suggestion :-)

Post 10832 is near her, but I am unable to locate any contact information for them.  I was on their page, when I found the link to join here.  I thought this site was for Post 10832 :-(

Is there a VFW post anywhere near her?  Please try to contact one and inform them.  Another group you could try would be the Patriot Guard Riders.  The local funeral home might have a contact number for them.
