Here is another ARMY site, you might wish to check out. Go to; http://www.armytimes.com/ . When we got them, they were something special to read (mail/package from the world was always the best), other than a map and how many clicks we had to hump to go to. That and "Radio Vietnam". The Military radio station (which you could only get if it was in a safe place). Later, DMC/ARMY/Grunt'69

Captain Reynolds,
I am a VFW Chaplain for Post #969 here in Tacoma, WA. I was wondering if there is anything that the VFW Chaplains could do to stem the onslaught of attempted suicides in the Army. During a homecoming ceremony for 4/6th Air Calvary here at Ft. Lewis, a former reporter came up to me and said that God had put it on his heart to find out what the community could do to stop the attempted suicides of so many service members. As you probably know, a VFW Chaplain is not necessarily ordained. I am not. So, I was at a loss for an answer to the gentleman. Do you have any suggestions? Also, please check out the Chaplain group that I created on VFWWebcom here. You're a real Chaplain. If you have any suggestions for improving the Chaplain group, please let me know. Thanks,
Chaplain Dale A. Iannello

Currently, I'm serving as VP of the 18th Infantry Association (Vanguards.) The Vanguards deployed last month along with other elements of the 2nd Heavy Combat Brigade from Fort Riley. Our association supports the unit and their families 365, 24/7 by dollars and deeds. If anyone cares to help us out, regardless of your unit affiliation, please contact me..........not asking for handouts, just offering you information....Jake
