I am doing all I can to make sure our current President gets a nice vacation starting in January of next year and hope my VFW brothers will join me. My cat could do a better job and at least I know what he does, poop, eat and sleep.

Washington Army NG 10 years 4 years active 2 years reserve. I would like to see more NG get involved in the VFW and become active I have found it to be real theraputic for me and I am able to deal with things better than i use too.

Hi I am Kelli.  over 6 yrs Coast Guard and 6 yr National Guard-NC.  Went to Iraqi and received 40% disability from the VA.  I am having a hard time increasing for my back,  I also want to know if someone can help me apply for assistance replacing my AC/Heating unit. I do not have the money being that I am a single mom.  Any help is appreciated.

I'm Tom Alessi. I spent 6.5 years in the Active Army and then the rest of my 39 years, 6 months, 15 days in the PA Guard. I was only a grey area retiree for 11 days! Felt good to be in and it feels good to be out too. Just joined the VFW and I.m looking forward to the future with it.

Why does everyone keep saying that I don't need the Army to give me a disability??? I lost my retirement. With that I lost CR and CRSC not to mention my retirement pay. Please explain. Bill

Welcome Bill. Hope the battle goes well with the Army. But if the VA gave you a percentage then you don't need the army to.
