As of today - June 14, 2013 - the Dept of Mo needs only 184 more members to attain 100% in membership.  Lets beat them bushes and find the needed members.

In response to Rick House asking for Convention Dates, Page 4 of the Missouri VFW Commander and Quartermaster Manual, Feb CoA on Feb 1 and 2 at the Capital Plaza Hotel, Jefferson City.

State Convention on June 6, 7, 8, & 9 at Ramada Oasis Convention Center, Springfield MO.

Vietnam War Hero Recommended for MOH

Forty years ago Monday, Leslie Sabo of Ellwood City died in Cambodia while trying to save his buddies from a North Vietnamese ambush that killed seven of his 101st Airborne Division comrades.

The 22-year-old was recommended posthumously for the nation's highest award, the Medal of Honor

Capt. Jared Corsi (right), native of Belleville, Mo., swears in Spc. Kimberly Tyus, of Selma, Ala., Nov. 18. Tyus serves as the paralegal for the 926th Engineer Brigade and reenlists after being in the Army for 13 years. Corsi serves as the company commander of Headquarter and Headquarters Company, 926th Engineer Brigade, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
