I can't tell you the number of veterans I visit with who need in-home care that the VA has never even mentioned the benefit of Aid & Attendance. The VA will pay, but they don't tell anybody about it. It's really a shame.
Thanks for YOUR work with PVA. That is a great organization.

Hi August, that's great that your son has made it through that many tours. My next tour however will be Afghanistan.I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you have a great New Years.Tell your son I will pray for him and his buddies as I do my own.TTYL
Where about in NC does he live. I know the Guard unit in Williamston is scheduled for early 09 and our post has helped with one of their cook-outs. Also what is his name?
Hello August. I feel somewhat connected to you by way of my mother-in-law. She was born and raised in Manitowoc. My father-in-law met her when he was stationed at the sub building facilities there after his sub tour in the Pacific in WWII. She was a "Rosie the Riviter" and is very proud of it. They now live in Belhaven NC and my wife and I live in Washington NC. Have you been to the museum there?
