William (Bill) Thien Candidate for Jr. Vice C-I-C
Bill joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 1971 while still in the service and became a life member in 1977 at VFW Post 3281 in New Albany, Indiana. He served at the Post level beginning with several appointed and elected offices before being elected as Post Commander in 1990. He has been an All State and All American Post Commander 3 times and was named Captain of the All State Commanders team in 1

My Dad is a VETERAN of the Korean war (1953-1954) and he has a "Brick" in Lewiston, Idaho and one in Boise, Idaho and I would like to honor him with one here in Spokane, Washington! Can you direct me in the way I should proceed?

Fact of the matter, though, is that he is one heck of hard worker. He was my State Commander during my first year as a District Commander. Very impressive, and a solid leader. Great guy.
