Friday Night Potluck Dinner To Support Warrior Hike Post 1860 Front Royal, Virginia

The VFW in Front Royal is hosting the Warrior Hikers: Combat Veterans who are "Walking off the War" by hiking the Appalachian Trail  (yes, ALL 2,180 miles) to raise money for wounded vets. Standing For the Fallen in DC

Former Marine Mark Dolfini will be in Washington DC on 4 July raising money to help Soldiers Angels Germany. Mark will don his Dress Blues and stand for 24 hours beginning at 0000 and ending at 1159 on 4 July.  We are working on a location with Park Service and I'll update this notice when the permit and location are finalized. Last 9/11 Cookout at Walter Reed Army Medical Center

This past Friday I was in Washington DC for the Restore Honor Rally. It was amazing. 500,000 people showed up to hear Glenn, Sarah Palin, Dr Alveda King and various ministers, rabbis, and imams encourage America to turn back to God and get right. Warrior Legacy and Cooking with the Troops in Varina, VA 19 June

Saturday 19 June will mark the first day SSgt Dwyane Cole and his wife's ownership of a specially-adapted home, designed exclusively for the needs of a wheelchair bound wounded veteran.Homes For Our Troops started this project back in October of 2009. Hi Bob, I see you support the 3rd BCT......I was with the 2nd BDE in Viet Nam and still in a non-active role. COL Joe Martin (CO) and LTC Chris Beckert (Deputy CO) , 2nd BCT, Iraq, keep me updated each week. I'm headed to Fort Riley next week and hoping the snow will be gone as the CSM of the !st BCT are planning to play a round of golf.
