- My grandfather was a member of Post 1516 in Ohio. He used to take me with him as a child. I miss my grandfather and I am always looking for ways to honor him.

My father served in the Army for almost 10 years, so I am an official Army BRAT & I actually have the certificate to prove it!
My husband is in the Army and made the promotion board for Sergeant Major in August of 2009 and we are just waiting for orders to move to a new installation to make it official but we're not holding our breath since the Army likes to keep us on our toes!
So, I guess you could say that the Army has been a big part of my life for all of my life and that I'm a wee bit bias, but I have family members in other branches too so I'm not a hater! LOL
