Military Service History

I was a combat engineer for 3 years. I was stationed at Fort Drum, NY and deployed once to Iraq.

Tell us about yourself

I am a co-chair for the ASWSU Veterans Affairs Committee at Washington State University. My number one goal was to have mental health care for all veterans attending WSU and have it be local (not an hour and a half away).

I think that mental health issues for our returning veterans is going to be the number one issue with the VA for the next twenty years with all the vets coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan from multiple combat tours.
