Military Service History

Enlisted in 1976. Served in the 82nd Airborne 1977-1981. USAR 1981-1997. Indiana Army National Guard 1997 to present. Deployed to Bosnia (SFOR 15) 2004, Afghanistan (TF Phoenix III) 2005, Afghanistan OEF VII 2006-2007.

Tell us about yourself

Started out as a paratrooper (71M) then went to OCS (Wisconsin Military Academy) and became an Armor officer in 1983. Became a chaplain in 2000. Now serving as the State Chaplain for the Indiana National Guard.

Interests and hobbies

History, Guitar. I'm very active in finding new ways for the VFW to reach out to the newer veterans.
