- Enlisted Aug 1954 served continuously until transfer to USN Officers Retired List effective 31 March1976. Served on 4 Destryers (USS Abbot, USS Bache, USS Barton, USS RL Wilson, Tender USS Shenandoah) 2 Amphibious ships (USS Guam, USS Nashville), Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Group, Fleet Training Group Guantanamo Bay Cuba, In-Country QuiNohn Vietnam 1966, Instructor Duty (DamNeckVA, NRTC Asheville NC). Awarded GCM, National Defense, Navy Expeditionary, VietNam Service, Armed Forces Expeditionary, ColdWar medals and other Awards. Advanced from E1 to E7; Retired as CWO3 qualified as Surface Warfare Officer.

- After retirement from USN, employed by Defense contractors (Vitro Laboratories, EG&G as Combat Systems engineer, Project and Program manager. Served with UXO remediation industry as Proposal Manager and Director of Business Development for 3 companies ( EODT, CMS, EHSI) providing remediation services under contracts with US Army Corps of Engineers Huntsville. Developed proposals resulting in contract awards for private armed guard services to agencies such as US FAA, Metropolitan transportation, airport, schools, etc. Presently fully retired!
