My interest in aviation began at about age 4-5 when I used to see DC3's and old WWI aircraft fly overhead. Started building model planes at age 9, soloed at age 18. When the Korean war broke out I immediately requested active duty status and was transferred to an attack squadron.

Returning to Civilian life I started a career in law enforcement. served 30+ years in our local PD, 16 of those in CID, 8 as Chief of detectives. Then served 7 years as Chief of Public Safety at a local community college.

Married 56 years, we have five children, 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren
Interests and hobbies
Family, children, photography (62 years) (Professional Photographers School of America, 1966) Gardening, Flight Simulators, handgun proficiency, metal detecting, fishing, music (classical, opera, country western, playing organ) Leather tooling, Military history & biographies.

Update on the forthcoming documentary on the Chosin Valley Battle, Korea 1950

Hello everyone,

Happy 234th Birthday to all of the Marines out there and Happy Veterans Day to all! With both holidays coming up this week, I felt it would be fitting to thank those of you who served for your service to our country.
