After ten years in the Navy spent a long time in Indiana, got divorced moved to Maine (could not get the Salt Water out of my blood. Now married living here with 4 dogs and 5 cats.
My goal now is to ensure a Cold War Victory Medal to everyone who served honorably during the Cold War

The American Cold War Veterans, Inc. have received some good news in the last few days, concerning a Cold War Medal.

On Nov 5, Senator Snowe along with Senator Webb, Senator Lincoln, Senator Landrieu
introduced S.2743 The Cold War Medal Act 2009, which would authorize a Cold War Medal to those who served honorably from Sept. 1945 to Dec. 1991.
