- I was a pre-issue spouse. So none of his "bosses" could say "We didn't issue you a spouse". I came with the soldier from day 1.
I was an avid military spouse volunteer.
I volunteered for Army Community Service, American Red Cross, FTCKY Enlisted Spouses Club among several other services.
Was awarded the Dr. Mary Walker Award and won FTCKY 2002 Volunteer of the Year for Other agencies and Organizations category.
Hubby retired in 2002 and we ended up in Richmond in 2003.
- Interests and hobbies
- Hobbies: Running websites for Indiana VFW District 10, VFW Post 1108 Aux, and Darke County Singles (for my mom).
- Memberships in other organizations
- Auxilliary member of VFW Post 1108 in Richmond, IN and
American Legion Post 158 in Union City, IN.
