Gifted for Christmas with a bottle of "Old Weller" Antique. Original 107 Brand by a Special Forces Colonel.. Good stuff but causes me to lisp. Forget, frequently, which way to wear my snowshoes when pursued by Indians. Huh?
I sing frequently when testing General Grant's brand -- Old Crow.

Knoot,
Watching the photos you and others have posted reinforces my feelings that a medium such as this can only reinforce the feelings VFW veterans feel for each other. Comrades!
None of us perfect, but not afraid to stand & be counted.

Knoot,
I have a hilarious letter home from my Pine Tree Soldier to his sweety [Great Grandmother} written from high atop a Pine tree. Watching closely for advance of opposing force. Ground level was his ASS and an ordinary soldier serving as an Orderly.
Looking up from his letter he noted the enemy was approaching on the run. Passing the word to his orderly he prepared to descend and escape only to find he had lost his ASS. Responding to training he became a part of the tree.
Lessons Learned: Watch your ASS in the Signal Corps.
