Soup for the Troops November 8th, 2008
Our event Soup for the Troops is in the final stages - two weeks to go, around 20 soups from area restaurants and we are ready to raise some money for the Hope for the Warriors. We have had such an great response to this event and will be featuring a car show driving in from Camp Lejune, a beer tasting tent, live entertainment, children's fun area and raffles. The event was picked up this year by Next Media and they will have several radio stations on location to cover the day.
I would love to invite any Veterans in the Wilmington, NC area to come and let us honor them.

Starting a new Chapter
A few weeks ago, My husband came home in the middle of the day completely devastated after being fired from his 8 year position with the Home Depot. A company that he had worked for while retiring from his 20 years of service in the Army and a company that he had devoted the past 8 years to tirelessly.
