I am proud to be a Past Commander of the Pvt. John Lyskawa VFW Post 7546 in Dearborn Heights, MI. I am also now the Sr. Vice Commander of the 4th District of the Department of Michigan.
Hi Phil, Thank you for the friend invite. Were neighbors MI. 5th District. Thank you for your service. What do you think my chances are in finding anyone who may have served in WWII in 44? It's a long shot?
Phil , sorry taking so long to get back to you , I just want to say thank you for your service , Linda Downs whom is a member of our Post 6281 was in in Iraq about the same time as you and her daughter Ashley served a tour in 04- 05 . You guys are doing and did one heck of a job in Iraq and Afgan. . I wish more of them would join the VFW AS you know we as in (me) are getting old .Thanks again Wayne
