Tell us about yourself
I am in the business of making life easier for older adults in need of home care or other assistance. We routinely work in conjunction with home health nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and others to make life easier.

To be sure, our in-home services also make life easier for these seniors' families and give them the peace of mind knowing that their mom and/or dad is safe and provided for with world class personal care.

My passion is in ensuring that older adults are empowered to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible in the setting of their choice. Most often, that setting is their home. That's what my company - Home Helpers - does.

Know someone who might need home care in Arkansas? Go here.

We are the experts in providing the very highest quality home care in Arkansas.

Also, if you need to send more cards or notes to family, friends, co-workers, business associates, fellow veterans or others, go here.

I wish I had something like this to send real cards in the mail to my sons while I was downrange. You can include photos, your own handwriting, etc. It is TOO cool and, for a soldier downrange, it comes worry-free of mail delivery. Every deployed unit ought to have this...

Choosing an Agency for In Home Care in Arkansas

This is a good article from AARP about home care.

Choosing an Agency for In-Home Care
There's no place like home. That's why most people want to stay there as they age. However, sometimes people need in-home help to remain at home. There are two main types of in-home care agencies.

Homemaker services for household duties and non-medical personal care are provided by home care… Continue

Assisted Living in Little Rock

Evaluating and selecting a living or care arrangement, whether temporary or permanent, is a major life decision that merits sufficient time and consideration. To determine what might be best for your particular situation, we recommend that you:
(1) Begin with a clear understanding of your loved one's capabilities and limitations.
(2) Have a clear understanding of both the cur… Continue

Home Helpers serves the home care needs of older adults in Little Rock and surrounding communities. We offer superior senior care that enables an older adult to remain home instead of going into a nursing home or other facility.

We make life easier for the "sandwich generation" that is balancing work, family, other obligations and caring for an aging parent. Our employee caregivers can provide companionship, transportation, and a whole range of other services that are personally tailored… Continue

Sam, are you aware that as a member-at-large you have no vote or voice in the doings of the VFW, you cannot even hold an office at Post or any level within the VFW. In order to have your ideas and the fantastic job that you are doing recognized by the VFW and being used at the National level in the yearly report to Congress you need to be affiliated with a Post. doing that is as easy as contacting your closest Post's Quartermaster and request transfer to that post, for that matter any Post QM can do it. The Hospital Chairperson would give their eye teeth (if they still have them) to ad all the hours that you spend with Vets and their families to their post's annual report. This is just food for thought. Why not be regonized for all the hard and rewarding work you do?
