Hi Steve
Where was this guy a firefighter??Also how long did he spend in the Corp? He must of been a little old to join the firefighter if he was a E8 when he got out of the Corp.I was 27 when I jioned the firefighter and I retired at the age of 52 with 25 years.
You stated that you were 100% disable where did you get it in Vietnam? My Brother got blowen up by a bouncing betty and almost took off his head but he servised and drawing 100% also he got wonded in 1965 I was lucky it was the only time in Marine corp history that we diden't have marine in some kind of war except 1958 when they shipped Marine to Lebanon.

Hell Brother....no matter how long, or where we served, we all went and held our hands up and did what we were told! Always proud to be of the "elite" forces who stood up for freedom! Take Care Bro! Come over and see me sometime!
