Tell us about yourself

I received a BA degree from Westminister College in Fulton, MO in 1964.
I received a Master's of Science Degree in Public Health from the University of Missouri in 1967.
After being discharged from active duty, I worked for the Jefferson County Health Department in Hillsboro, MO for 5 years--1971-1976.
I transferred to the MO Department of Health, District Office in Springfield, MO in1976, as Supervisor of the Environmental Health Section. I supervised 4 state employees, advised 21 County Health Offices on enevironmental health programs. In 1986, I assumed the position of Epidemiologist Specialist in the district office. I tracked various reported communicable disease in the district and investigated many disease outbreaks.
I retired in October 2000.

Interests and hobbies

All types of music, gardening, fishing, golf, sporting events.

Vietnam Veterans of America, DAV, American Legion, 40 & 8, Masons, Scottish Rite, and the Shrine.
