VA Compensation due to Agent Orange Exposure

I recently filed for VA Compensation due to Agent Orange Exposure in Viet Nam.  What are my chances for approval?  Do I need a Service Agent to follow my claim?

I first applied in 2001 and was granted 60%; re-applied in 2005 due to a VA error and was granted 70%;re-applied in 2008 due to added complications; now rated 100%.  Best advice I can give is to be persistant.  Visit the doctor's office for copies of your records; don't leave the form which gets lost and misplaced.  Work closely with your County VA Services Officer; this is your advocate (your lawyer).  Make every appointment for every test, every exam and every interview.  It takes a long time to wind through the maze of forms, copies, appoint- ments, tests and exams, but it is very worthwhile.  Good luck on your journey.
