With the greatest certainty, I hereby endorse Jessie Jones for the upcoming selection as National Jr-Vice Commander. Comrade Jones has a lengthy list of accomplishments which include All-American Department Commander, All-American District Commander, All-American Post Commander, Department of Missouri Quartermaster/Adjutant as well as a myriad of national appointments. Comrade Jones has exemplified how to succeed in trying times as evidenced by his accomplishments above and is truly a Veterans of Foreign Wars comrade through and through. Comrade Jones continues to service his post and district as Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen Chairman in spite of his busy schedule as Department of Missouri Quartermaster/Adjutant.
Comrade Jones, a Marine Corp Viet Nam veteran, exercised his patriotism and love of country through his “boots on the ground” service. Although I am a Army veteran and the line officers are mixed between Army, Navy, and Marine Corp veterans, we all are united in the belief that Comrade Jones is an exemplary Veterans of Foreign Wars member and champion of veterans rights and benefits. Comrade Jones is often asked for his expertise in department business –not only current challenges but likely future challenges. The Department of Missouri is truly blessed to have his knowledge and forthrightness with everyone he deals with. From a personal standpoint, I count on Comrade Jones for a thorough review of our alternatives in dealing with the complexity of problems that are addressed daily.
With the utmost respect, I heartily endorse the nomination and selection of Comrade Jessie Jones as Missouri’s candidate for National Junior-Vice Commander.
