My VFW WebCOM

We have enabled the photo moderation feature in our software for security purposes. All photos will now be approved before they appear on the site.

Why?

We like to keep things as simple as possible to give everyone a user-friendly experience, however, we are beginning to integrate some of the great content on My VFW WebCOM with the rest of the VFW WebCOM Network. In order to do that, we needed to eliminate the chance that some unscrupulous types didn't take advantage of the system to either a) post pornograhic materials or b) use the system to post unwanted advertising i.e. spam.

What does this mean to me?

Please continue to post your photos of people, places, events, etc. The only noticeable difference for most folks will be that the photos don't appear automatically. We will review the photos and post them in a timely fashion...most times within an hour or two or less...but occasionally, it may take us a little longer. Basically, unless you're posting porn or spam, you have nothing to worry about. If you are, then you have bigger problems than whether or not your photos get approved. :)

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause but hopefully it will help keep My VFW WebCOM a familiy-friendly place to be.

Thanks

Shu
