Thanks for the welcome to this site.  I just discovered it this week.  We are trying to get our VFW Post 4180 in Snellville Ga.involved to the mew electronic media.  We are located east of Atlanta, Ga.

I,ve had a love affair with the CORPS for the past 46 yrs and my wife (former HM3) I met at Chelsea NAVHOSP Boston, co-worker in Cardiology Dept. --  she shares my feelings.  I was assigned to Chelsea after NAM.  We will celebrate our 44th this Aug. she's my annual "Sailor of the Year".   In Feb 68 I signed a VFW Post 9328 Charter.  Named after 19 y/o HM3 Ronald G. St John (high school classmate).  His last assignment was a Patrol on top of the Rock Pile, Quang Tri VietNam Sep '66.  After I got home in Jun '67 I visited his parents to discribe his last moments (2nd hand info from reliable source) which gave them a sense of closure.  Shortly after this they started the paper-drill to form a Post.  I am proud to be a Devil DOC.               

Sadly NAS Brunswick became CIVLANT Brunswick Airport last year.  (POLITICS)......       I rotated sea/shore duty for over 20 yrs living in Norfolk/VaBch.  I served as independent HM on USS KIDD DDG-993,  then as Physician Assistant at NOB Norfolk Medical Clinic until I retired.  My earlier years I served with the 3rd Battalion 4th Marines  3rd MarDiv Vietnam 1966-1967.  During the interim I was a Pharmacy Tech and a Navy Instructor.  I made HMC in 11 years and I was ready to kick ass if any senior enlisted messed with my people.   OOOOOH-RAAAAAAH!!!!           DOC

The dude from Australia was deleted for being a "Spammer"  He was already out before I logged on so I suppose one of the other admin found him.  We dont let them stay long.
